Aim & Scope
Econophysics Colloquium is an annual meeting on Econophysics that brings together physicists, economists, and practitioners to discuss statistical methods, quantitative measures, modeling approaches, numerical simulations, and non-conventional data mining methods applied to financial, economic, and social systems. Econophysics Colloquium started in 2005 in Canberra (Australia) and subsequent years, was held in the following locations: Tokyo (Japan 2006), Ancona (Italy 2007), Kiel (Germany 2008), Erice (Italy 2009), Taipei (Taiwan 2010), Vienna (Austria 2011), Zürich (Switzerland 2012), Pohang (Korea 2013), Kobe (Japan 2014), Prague (Czech Republic 2015), São Paulo (Brazil 2016), Warsaw (Poland 2017), Palermo (Italy 2018), Singapore (2019), Edition missed due to pandemic (2020), Lyon (France 2021) and Thessaloniki (Greece 2022). The Colloquium is taking place in Lipari, Italy 30 July-5 August 2023.

Travel and accommodation
Participants will be arranged in comfortable hotels at very special rates. The conference room (located at Hotel Giardino sul Mare, Via Maddalena, Lipari) is air-conditioned and equipped with all conference materials. Special areas are reserved for students for the afternoon coursework and study. The island of Lipari can be easily reached from Milazzo, Palermo, Naples, Messina, and Reggio Calabria by ferry or hydrofoil (50 minutes from Milazzo).
Registration
The registration fee is 570 €. The fee covers the course material, bus+hydrofoil Catania airport-Lipari-Catania airport, social events, and coffee breaks.
Early registration applications can be submitted up to July 31st, 2023. Late registrations will be accepted up to July 31st, 2023. Only the first 80 applications in chronological order will be accepted. The late registration fee is 670 €.
Applicants must include an updated link to an official website. In case of cancellation after fee payments, a 25% penalty will be applied. In the case of credit card payments, processing fees cannot be reimbursed. Payment must be received as soon as possible, no later than July 1st, 2022. Only wire transfers or credit card payments can be accepted.
